Advocated for complimentary period products in civic facilities to improve accessibility, dignity, and inclusion.
Active Seniors Programming
Helped initiate the PoCo Super Seniors (80+) free recreation program and supported expanded Seniors Centre access during holiday periods.
Urban Forest Expansion
Helped secure a $78,000 tree-planting grant to strengthen Port Coquitlam’s urban canopy.
Environmental Innovation
Initiated the Rain Barrel Program and supported a rain garden pilot project at Lions Park.
Accessibility & Community Amenities
Advocated for improved amenities including a public washroom at Blakeburn Lagoons and accessibility upgrades at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre.

Arts, Culture & Community
Downtown Revitalization Program, Art in Motion ( fountain in Leigh Square), Terry Fox legacy projects, (installed the new Terry Fox Statue and Hall of Fame), Veterans Park enhancements, and community celebrations.
Transportation & Connectivity
Kingsway Multi-Use Pathway and broader active transportation improvements across the city.
Flood Protection & Climate Action
More than $10 million in flood mitigation funding and completed the new Climate Action Plan.
Housing & Child Care
Delivery of 779 new homes in 2024, including affordable housing, and 583 new child care spaces and in 2025 appoved 487 new housing units
Parks & Recreation
Park upgrades, dog parks, Mary Hill trail connections, and planning for a new covered multi-sport facility.
Sports & Recreation
Supported completion of the PoCo Climb and installation of indoor turf, expanding year-round sports and recreation opportunities.
Environmental Services
Expansion of recycling programs, including curbside glass recycling.
Health & Community Services
Tri-Cities Foundry Youth Centre, Urgent and Primary Care Centre, and Mobile Integrated Crisis Response (MICR) mental health support team.
Community Events
Support for civic events including May Day, Canada Day, and community festivals.
Fiscal Responsibility
Maintained the lowest municipal tax rates in Metro Vancouver for the past two consecutive years while continuing investment in core services and infrastructure.

Transportation: Safe, Connected & All Modes
Residents deserve safe, efficient, and connected ways to move throughout our city. I will continue advocating for a transportation system that works for everyone, including pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, and drivers.
· Improve active transportation networks

· Support barriers beside the cycling lanes on the Coast Meridian Overpass
· Advocate for the Fremont Connector and future SkyTrain expansion
Affordability – Creative Solutions
Housing affordability remains one of the greatest challenges facing our community.
Whether you're a young family looking to put down roots, a senior wanting to remain in your community, or someone entering the housing market for the first time, Port Coquitlam should offer housing choices that meet your needs.
I will continue supporting creative and practical housing solutions that help residents remain in Port Coquitlam throughout every stage of life.
· Support rental housing, townhomes, rowhouses, co-operative housing (co-ops), and other affordable housing options
· Expand housing choices for residents at every stage of life
· Increase access to daycare and childcare spaces
· Promote smart, well-planned growth
· Ensure development respects existing neighbourhoods and community character
Climate Action: Environmental Protection & Enhancements
Protecting our environment while strengthening community resilience through practical action.
· Invest in flood protection
· Expand the urban tree canopy
· Support green infrastructure and environmental enhancement initiatives
· Advocate for soft plastic collection to improve recycling and reduce landfill waste
· Advance the Kingsway Green Energy Corridor:
o Recover wastewater heat from the McLean Avenue Pump Station to provide clean energy for the Port Coquitlam Community Centre
o Develop a bio-energy centre with a district energy network serving the Kingsway Industrial Corridor
Neighbourhoods, Recreation & Community Investment
Every neighbourhood deserves balanced investment, renewal, and opportunities to thrive.
Neighbourhoods
· Upgrade sidewalks and improve accessibility
· Enhance traffic calming and crosswalk safety
· Improve street lighting and drainage infrastructure
· Invest in parks and infrastructure renewal
· Support public art and welcoming community gathering spaces
· Complete the Downtown Centre Block
· Support vibrant local businesses and continue revitalizing our downtown
Recreation
· Increase access to aquatic facilities and additional swim lanes
· Plan for a new Hyde Creek Recreation Centre
· Expand recreation opportunities for all ages, including affordable drop-in play programs for children ages 0–5
· Support a dedicated bike park for youth and families
· Complete the outdoor multi-plex sports facilities
Health & Safety
A safe and healthy community is essential to quality of life.
· Support public safety and emergency preparedness
· Strengthen mental health and addiction services
· Continue advocating for practical solutions for unhoused residents and for the re-opening of Riverview Hospital, or the development of a similar model of specialized mental health care
Taxes & Fiscal Responsibility
Responsible leadership focused on affordability and value.
· Maintain responsible spending and strong financial management
· Focus on core municipal services
· Maintain Port Coquitlam's position as one of the lowest municipal tax rates in Metro Vancouver
· Keep services sustainable while protecting affordability for residents
